iRacing 2026 Season 4 Brings the Aston Martin Valkyrie, Gen 4 Stock Cars

In the world of simulation racing, few take realism more seriously than iRacing, the online racing sim that requires drivers not just to drive fast, but to drive safely and fairly if they want to move up the ranks and reach higher levels. This makes it a popular choice for racers who want to test themselves without worrying that an outstanding performance will be undone by a reckless divebomb or outright trolling by opposing drivers.

As a live service game, iRacing keeps things interesting with new content in its updates, and the 2026 Season 4 update promises to do just that with a heap of new fun to play with. Off the top, racers are getting four new cars they can use on the track:

• Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH: One of modern prototype racing’s most popular machines makes its long-awaited iRacing debut and will be rain-ready out of the gate.
• Caterham 420R and Academy: Packaged together as a two-for-one set, these venerable road racers are also rain-enabled at launch.
• Gen 4 Grand National: Go back in time to the early 2000s with a return to Grand National-spec stock car racing.

It’s not all about the cars you’re driving, however, as the update also brings new looks at some of the game’s existing races, with three courses being rescanned as well as updated to include new racing layout options to try your hand at, as well as some car reworks:

• Road America: Newly rescanned and fully rebuilt, Road America expands to four total configurations with the addition of two Short layouts.
• The Milwaukee Mile: Also rescanned and rebuilt, Milwaukee’s infield road course has been added to its legendary oval as a second layout.
• Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course: All five Mid-Ohio layouts have gotten an update as part of its rescan and rebuild.
• Vehicle Updates: Both the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup and paved Sprint Car have received major physics and art updates.

Finally, the update brings general quality-of-life improvements, including new content for AI racers, as well as updates to existing cars and track configurations. A new Sim UI aims to give drivers more information more easily, and multi-class pace car starts have been added to over 50 tracks.
