No, at the time of writing, Star Wars: Galactic Racer won’t launch on Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus. It’s a premium release sold for 59,99€ / £49.99 / $59.99 (Standard Edition) or 79,99€ / £64.99 / $79.99 (Deluxe Edition).

This doesn’t mean Fuse Games and Secret Mode’s competitive racer will never hit the Xbox and PlayStation subs at a later date, but for now, you’ll have to buy your way into the Galactic League.

Does Star Wars: Galactic Racer require a Game Pass or PS Plus Sub?

Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus subscriptions aren’t required to play Star Wars: Galactic Racer, since it’s not an always-online game. There’s a single-player campaign, an arcade mode, and plenty of other offline challenges, so players don’t need to grab subs to enjoy most of what it has to offer.

However, if you’re looking to race online against random players and/or friends (up to 12), you’ll be needing an active Game Pass or PS Plus subscription as usual.
