Project Motor Racing Free to Play on PlayStation 5 Through November 1

PlayStation 5 players can check out Project Motor Racing for free from October 26 through November 1, with access to the full base game and all available modes. The trial includes more than 70 cars across 14 classes and 18 tracks, giving players a chance to try everything the game has to offer without purchasing it. All content is available right from the start, so there’s no need to unlock anything before jumping into a race.

Career Mode puts players in charge of more than just winning races, as they’ll also need to manage their finances, choose sponsors and meet objectives to keep their racing career going. Those looking for something a little more straightforward can jump into Race Weekend, where you can set up your own practice sessions, qualifying and races with customizable rules, including single-class, multi-class and one-make events.

There are plenty of ways to race online as well with Ranked Racing, Factory Driver Challenges, Endurance Hall and Custom Lobbies all available during the trial. Players can also check out the ModHub for community-created content, including additional cars, tracks, events and liveries.

The free trial includes everything from the base game but does not include any paid DLC. There are currently six DLC packs available with another on the way, offering an additional 52 cars across 15 classes and five tracks for those interested in expanding their experience.

Players can get started by clicking here or visiting the PlayStation Store, searching for Project Motor Racing and downloading the trial. A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required, even for the online modes and anyone who decides to purchase the full game afterward can carry over their progress, settings and records without starting over.
