Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Adds Free Samba de Amigo Content With Amigo

Sega has announced that the free Samba de Amigo content drop is now available in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. A festival will also run from September 10 through September 13, 2026, awarding points for decals, gadgets, and more.

• Amigo’s vehicle, the Locomotive de Amigo

• Special emotes and sounds

  • “VAMOS A CARNAVAL” 2023 Version, (Final Lap)

  • “Let’s find and shake it” (Jukebox Only)

About Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Players can build and customize their machines, unlock gadgets, and unleash power-ups solo or with friends in multiple offline and online modes. Cross-platform matchmaking lets up to 12 racers compete simultaneously, regardless of platform.

The roster includes various Sonic characters, with more coming through free post-launch updates, including Joker, Kasuga Ichiban, and Hatsune Miku.

At launch, the game features several modes: Grand Prix with multiple cups, World Match ranked online battles, customizable Friend Matches, Time Trials, and the party-focused Race Park. Local split-screen multiplayer supports up to four players, while full online matchmaking supports up to twelve. A new Rival System assigns rivals who taunt across Grand Prix events.
