Over a decade in the making and after multiple delays, it’s hard to believe that GTA 6 is almost here. Rockstar Games stunned fans with an extended reveal on Netflix, which provided a first look at the world, combat, racing, and, of course, the dynamic between the dual protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
The soundtrack in Grand Theft Auto games has played a crucial role in bringing the world to life, with radios becoming some of the most memorable music in the game. Whether you enjoyed driving along to Non-Stop Pop, Vinewood Boulevard Radio, or Radio Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto 5, everyone has their favorite way to jam out in-game.
Going into Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar Games is attempting to recreate that feeling with a brand new tracklist that represents the bright and bustling world that is Vice City and Leonida.
Artists began teasing their involvement with GTA 6 on social media on September 15, by posting segments of the game’s artwork. Just days later, Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album has been announced, featuring a stacked roster of musical icons.
Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album is made up of 34 original tracks that Rockstar Games says “capture the electric energy of Grand Theft Auto VI’s world of Vice City and Leonida.” Already, there’s a whole range of artists on show, who have banded together to create this one-of-a-kind album.
All Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album Editions
There are three ways you can pre-order Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album — the standard CD, a vinyl, and a limited-edition vinyl. Every version is shrouded in pink and blue tones, with the artwork being highly recognizable of Grand Theft Auto 6’s style.
The CD comes with a booklet in a jewel case, while the standard album features two transparent magenta discs with a blue splatter effect. The limited-edition vinyl is certainly one collectors will be eyeing up, and at the time of writing, it’s already sold out. It consists of two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, along with exclusive new artwork and distinct packaging.
