Motorsport UK’s British F4 Esports Championship is back for 2026, with defending champion Henry Moore hoping to clinch back-to-back titles.
Using iRacing‘s FIA F4 car, British F4 Esports has become one of the most competitive sim racing series on the planet, backed by Formula 1 teams and professional esports drivers.
This season, the championship may have lost entries from Ferrari, Williams and Red Bull, but it still has Aston Martin and Alpine, with representation from top esports outfits like BS+COMPETITION, TC Esports and 2025 champions Team BENIK.
The favourites for glory this year are undoubtedly the Team BENIK pairing of Moore and Remy Gilbert. After finishing first and second in the standings last season, it’s difficult to bet against them in 2026, although series stalwart Matt Caruana, once again driving for HYMO Racing by EMM, looks the most likely to challenge.
Peter Berryman is also likely to feature at the front of the field, returning after a two-year absence to lead the charge for Nova Legio Racing.
The series once again features a £5,000 prize pool to be split between the top three teams in the standings, with the championship officially partnered with simulator experience centre Drive Lounge.
The Drivers’ Championship winner will also attend Motorsport UK’s Night of Champions to receive their official British Championship trophy – the only official British championship in sim racing.
All races will be broadcast live on iRacing’s YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels, with the first round commencing on 23rd September from Donington Park’s Grand Prix layout.

2026 British F4 Esports Championship entry list
UK FF1600 Esports Cup
British F4 Esports’ official feeder series also returns this season, with 2025’s title winner and second-place finisher, Crofton Woodhatch and Jayden Sherwood, taking their respective prize drives on the main 2026 grid.
The UKFF1600 Esports Cup is designed to promote up-and-coming talent and uses the Formula Ford-style Ray FF1600 car. Following the British F4 Esports calendar, drivers must not have reached more than 7,500 iRating, must have never held a ‘Pro’ iRacing licence, and must have no affiliation with a team that has ever competed in the British F4 Esports Championship.
To underline its success, Henry Moore is a former champion (and 2025 FIA F4 Global Esports Championship winner), and the top two in the standings are again invited to compete in 2027’s British F4 Esports Championship.
